Class of 89 Reunion... THIS WEEKEND!!!

The big event is upon us. Festivities and gatherings to celebrate Moore High School's Class of 89 are scheduled all weekend.

YOU CAN STILL GO TO THE SATURDAY NIGHT MAIN EVENT IF YOU HAVEN"T ALREADY MADE PLANS. Just show up at the Horseshoe and bring $60 per person you bring with you. Love to have you and looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Reunion Update

Hey Guys,

It's getting closer to July and everyone is getting excited about the reunion! I know I am!! Everything is going smooth so far. Some classmates are already starting to send in money to Larry, GREAT!

We need some feedback. And a head count

1. Are you planning to attend Sunday July 26th at the park?

2. If you are interested playing a round of golf, Friday morning July 24th?

Just want your input and opinions, after all, this is your 20 year too. :)

Cut off date on room reservations

Some new info on the group rates at the hotel. The group rate for a room is $149 plus 11% tax. The group rate code is # S07MHSR. However the cut off date for that rate is July 18th and the rate is based on availability.

Two ways to pay using Credit Card.

1) You can email Larry Higdon that you wish to pay via Credit Card (or PayPal)and he will send you a PayPal money request where you can us PayPal to make the transaction. Be sure to mention how many tickets you'll need.

2) You can click the link below. Tickets are $60 each. The link below purchases one ticket at a time.

Payments can be sent now and if you know you're definitely going to be able to make it. Since we are paying for the function as we go, the sooner we can start getting them, but better off we'll be. We're using the phrase "non-refundable," but by that we mean we don't people just to back out at the last minute. If there is a family emergency that cannot be avoided, we should be able to refund money in that case. Hopefully we will have enough extra cash to pay anyone that needs to be refunded. But we have to have enough to pay for the venue.

THE BASICS

DATE: Saturday, July 25, 2009, 6pm – Sunday, July 26, 2009
LOCATION: Horseshoe Casino, Elizabeth, IN (Saturday), Charlie Vettiner Park (B.Y.O.F.) (Sunday)
PRICE: $60 per person, Full Cash Bar
WHAT: Southwest Style Buffet (Chicken, Steak, Chops, Veggies, Fruit, Salads, etc.), Dance Floor, DVD Presentation of Contributed Pictures

ROOMS:

We have a special room rate. We can get rooms for $149, but we are not responsible for reserving these rooms. The Hotel takes care of that. They have to be reserved ahead of the reunion.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in time is 4:00PM and check out time is 11:00AM. If you anticipate a large number of early arrivals or late departures, arrangements for appropriate baggage hold must be made with our Convention Services Department when reviewing the final details.

ROOM RATES
Horseshoe Southern Indiana Hotel is pleased to confirm the following guestroom rates for Moore High School Class Reunion Class of 1989 during the above dates:

Room: Run of House
Single Rate: 149.00
Double Rate: 149.00

The above rates are net non-commissionable and are subject to city, state and hotel taxes which currently total 11%. There will be an additional charge of $10.00 per person for 3rd and 4th persons in the same room.

HOTEL RESERVATION PROCEDURES
It is our understanding reservations will be made on an individual basis. Please advise your attendees to call 1-866-766-2671 for reservations and to be certain to identify the following Group Code in order to receive the group rate – S07MHSR. A credit card will be required for room guarantee. The Hotel will accept reservations until The Group’s cut-off date. Reservations received after The Group’s cut-off date will be honored on a space available basis and may be at a higher rate. All reservations are subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any reservation cancelled within 24 hours of arrival will be charged one nights room and tax as a penalty.
